Currane Win Ryder Cup.. ! Tommy Moran with captain Frank O'Driscoll and the USA invaders just couldn't believe the performance of the Currane team who comprehensively won the Currane-Connecticut challenge Cup also known as the Ryder Cup. A spokesman for the Currane team said " they came here expecting a hat trick of wins, we were so organised thanks to our captain extrodinaire Liam Rattigan, we fought it like a stragetic battle, they didn't know what hit them, we had tag teams in the bar so hangovers and sleep depravation came into play, some of our team had 2-3 hour stints buying beer and having the craic, when they were failing they were replaced by other keen members to keep the yanks going to the wee small hours but thats a secret*"
